Swedish company H&M is expanding its brand and launching H&M Beauty in South Africa.

A curated selection of H&M Beauty products will now be available in South Africa as the brand continues its mission to build one of the most fashionable beauty destinations in the world.

“We are delighted to introduce H&M Beauty in South Africa. This launch allows us to offer a well-curated beauty assortment that complements the fashion we are known for.

“Fashion has always been in H&M’s DNA, and with H&M Beauty, we can offer our customers a complete look,” says Caroline Nelson, the brand’s South African country manager.

Beauty lovers in South Africa can expect a range of products, including nail colours and tools, lip glosses, hair-styling aids, and various beauty tools and accessories.

The launch of H&M Beauty follows Kylie Cosmetics, which recently launched in South Africa.

In other news, WBeauty recently went green. The Woolworths-owned beauty brand launched a new range of make-up products with reusable packaging. The brand has committed itself to sustainability and ethical beauty practices.

“Woolworths has a vision for zero packing waste to landfill, so it was important to us to offer refillable make-up packaging to encourage our customers to reuse the original palette rather than throwing them away once empty,” said Woolworths Beauty head of technology and sourcing, Laura Naidu, in an interview with News24.

“By introducing refillable options, we are not only providing our customers with exceptional quality products but also taking a definitive step towards reducing unnecessary packaging.”
