The South African government has urged South Africans to vote for Bafana Bafana and Mamelodi Sundown goalkeeper Ronwen Williams as he seeks to win the Yachine Trophy at the Ballon d'Or Awards.
Williams, who is the first African to be nominated for the prestigious award while playing on the continent, currently leads the English voting polls but is struggling to gain votes in the French voting poll, where is outside of the top five.
Williams cracked the nod for the Yashin Trophy nomination after his outstanding performances for Bafana Bafana and his club Mamelodi Sundowns, helping them to achieve success with his incredible shot-stopping and leadership abilities.

This How you can Vote Ronwen Williams
South Africans can vote for the Bafana Bafana captain on the Lequipe website.
After clicking on the link, you will first need to vote for the winners of the Ballon d'Or for both men and women. Once you complete that voting process, you will then vote for the winner of the Kopa Trophy.
However once all that is done, you will have the opportunity to vote for Ronwen Williams for the Yashin Trophy. The process is straightforward: simply click on Williams, and then click "validate." That’s it.
