JOHANNESBURG - The Lions on Tuesday confirmed six more player contract extensions.
Influential captain and number eight Warren Whiteley was among those players to extend his time at Ellis Park, while Springbok hooker Malcom Marx also put pen to paper.
Scrumhalf Ross Cronje, winger Aphiwe Dyantyi, flanker Cyle Brink and lock Marvin Orie were the others to extend their contracts.

On Monday, the Lions announced the contract extensions of Elton Jantjies and Lionel Mapoe.
However, it's not all about commitment for another year as the teams has also lost players like Rohan Janse van Rensburg, Ruan Dreyer, Jacques van Rooyen, Jaco Kriel and Franco Mostert who have all departed for overseas teams.
