Durban – The VKB Knights became the first casualties in the current Momentum One Day Cup competition on Tuesday, as teams battle for the play-offs, when they hosted the Sunfoil Dolphins at the Diamond Oval in Kimberley.
The Knights were left at the bottom of the table following their 46 run (D/L) defeat.
As it stands, The Warriors are a point behind table leaders, the Cape Cobras on 19 points while the Lions, Dolphins and The Unlimited Titans have just a single point separating them.
With the last match is set to take place on February 17, the fight for the ultimate prize has already begun.
Instead of hoping for a miracle, bonus points come in handy in a competition with a table as tight as this one.
Getting those bonus points is just that, a bonus. The Dolphins, have overtaken the Titans compliments to the bonus point they earned in their victory over the Knights.
So if the table looks this good, then certainly all the clashes that remain are worth watching.
