Bidway Auction House will conduct one of the biggest furniture and appliances auctions to be held at its Woodstock auction house on March 30, with stock valued at a cost price of more than R5million scheduled to go under the hammer.

Auctioneer Stef Olivier says the auction floor will be filled with desirable items, including the entire contents of an upmarket furniture and appliance retail store that had to stop trading because it had reached the end of its lease and was not able to secure a new lease in time.

Also on the auction floor will be top quality appliances, including exclusive items from some of the best known manufacturers on the market - Smeg, Samsung, LG, HiSense, Defy, KIC, Elba and JBL, among others.
