Bidway Auction House will sell the complete contents of Viet Bake, a restaurant that served authentic Vietnamese cuisine, in Somerset West on May 23.
Restaurant tables and chairs, a carved wooden bar counter and quality catering equipment will go under the hammer, says auctioneer Stef Olivier.
“The kitchen equipment will include a MacAdams baking oven and prover, a 20-litre dough mixer; and a double-head, fully automatic espresso coffee machine with coffee bean grinder, to mention just a few items,” he says.
A large quantity of material suitable for making wedding dresses and clothing will also be available, as will a selection of ready-to-wear bridal gowns.

The auction will include a large quantity of fabric.
In addition, some good quality industrial shelving, display shelving and office furniture will be on offer, Olivier says.
The auction assets may be viewed at the auction site at 48 Delson Circle in Somerset West, between 9am and 4pm on May 22.
The auction will start at 11am on May 23.
