Despite the challenging market and notable decline in R20 million-plus sales on the Atlantic seaboard over the past 12 months, an R80m Bantry Bay apartment sale was concluded.
This is a new price record and the highest price achieved in South Africa over the last year.
The apartment was sold by Seeff agents Adrian Mauerberger and Cecily Sher. Ross Levin, director for Seeff Atlantic Seaboard, says the top suburbs for luxury apartments include Clifton and Bantry Bay, Balie Bay, the V&A Waterfront Marina and Mouille Point.
The highest prices for apartments sold on the Atlantic seaboard over the past five years, most sold by Seeff, recorded by Propstats include:
