Bronberrick is well situated in a neighbourhood with a selection of admired schools, a factor which ensures consistent popularity with families looking to settle close to education opportunities.
Well-known schools in the area include Laerskool Hennopspark, Zwartkops Christian School and Hoërskool Zwartkops. Others can be found in Lyttelton, Wierda Park and other nearby Centurion suburbs.
“Bronberrick is popular with parents because of the great variety of good schools in the area,” says Mariandl Pelser of Seeff Centurion. She singles out Laerskool Hennopspark as being particularly well-liked and for having a good rating nationally.
When one also considers the suburb’s centrality within Centurion and its easy access to routes such as Old Johannesburg Road, Jean Avenue, the N1 and Hendrik Verwoerd Drive, it is clear why the average young family with schoolgoing children would want to settle here. The suburb’s proximity to top shopping facilities, health services, entertainment spots as well as sporting and recreational facilities, are added drawcards.

Centurion Mall, Jean Crossing Shopping Centre and Centurion Lifestyle Centre are three of the leading shopping centres, while nearby health services include Netcare Unitas Hospital and @Health Medical Centre in Jean Avenue.
Nearby venues like SuperSport Park, Irene Farm, Irene Market and a host of hangouts, restaurants and coffee houses underscore the attraction of living in Bronberrick. Demand for residential accommodation in Bronberrick is high as is typical of well-situated suburbs that have good schools or easy access to good schools.
“At the moment, the more expensive properties are not in great demand, but the townhouses are popular if they are not overpriced,” says Pelser. She advises anyone who has entertained thoughts of living in Bronberrick to inspect the area now as there are well-priced properties on the market.
“More realistic property prices at the moment can give you a chance to live there,” she says. Pelser says the suburb’s diversified property portfolio contributes to its appeal for a wide spectrum of buyers and residents, adding to its attraction.
“There are all kinds of properties ranging from stack units and townhouses to free-standing homes,” she says. “The size of the stands is on average bigger than in the newer areas of Centurion. The properties are more spacious than in the more modern areas.” This is noteworthy as Bronberrick is one of the more established suburbs of Centurion.
The most popular addresses tend to be homes that are situated within the boomed-off area and those that are within walking distance of schools. Pelser draws attention to the fact that the booms are manned to ensure security remains at a premium.
Overall, the neighbourhood can be described as a well-organised community where residents work together for the good of the area and where neighbours look out for one another, says Pelser. Nearby Zwartkop is a bit pricier while Zwartkop Ext 7 and Eldoraigne are slightly more affordable, according to Lightstone.
