Nineons, a 23-apartment development nestled between Main and High Level roads in Green Point, has been completed, and features a shared rooftop entertainment deck and pool with panoramic views of Three Anchor Bay.
Its “perfect balance” of design features – such as the liberal use of glass to maximise the light quality and views, to the building’s modified angle, and striking vertical fins of the building that maintain privacy and act as sound protection – has resulted in a development with a strong and dynamic aesthetic, says developer Blok’s managing director Jacques van Embden.
The development has a focus on smart urban living, with space maximised throughout and a communal feel that will encourage neighbourly interaction.
Blok’s environmental consciousness is evident in the green building methods and materials, such as stormwater collection tanks, green water heating and low-energy lights. Homes still available include two-bedroom apartments and three-bedroom penthouses. Sizes range from 89m² to 256m² and homes are priced from R4.5 million to R15.2m.
