On June 29 Andrew Wyles Auctioneers will call for bids for two upmarket residences plus development land.

The properties are at:

* 221 Inanda Road, Crestview - to be sold at 1pm;

* Development land adjacent to this property at 49 Valley Road, Crestview - immediately afterwards;

* 110 Everton Road, Everton - 11am.

The sales will be on site.

Andrew Giddy, property manager at Ian Wyles, is euphoric about the four-bedroom house in Inanda Road.

“This is truly a unique property in a conservation area of natural beauty. It leaves you almost breathless with its splendour enhanced by Indonesian and Balinese finishes. It’s like being on a movie set - such magnificent properties are very rare,” says Giddy.

The main house has four bedrooms/four bathrooms as well as a separate en-suite bedroom suitable for guests.

The property has been extended to include a large 180m² showroom now used by owners to display their high-end furniture, but this space could be converted into additional accommodation. The showroom has high vaulted ceilings, finished with imported bamboo.

The 1.8ha development land on the crest of a hill at 49 Valley Road next to the opulent house has approved plans for the building of another four-bedroom residence.

The third property on offer is in the upmarket area of Everton, where - according to Giddy - average property prices are over R4million.

“This property has been consigned by the National Director of Public Prosecutions and should appeal to both end-users and investors as it has both a large main residence as well as four additional dwellings.

“Both the houses are currently tenanted,” Giddy adds.
