The arrival of the micro-living trend in Cape Town’s CBD has seen a flurry of buying activity, and Dogon Group Properties believes this trend will increase this year.
01 Albert Road in Woodstock broke ground in 2018 and its success is a sign of the future, says group chief executive Denise Dogon.
“Sales of these units has been robust as the prices offer an attractive opportunity for people who might not otherwise be able to get a foot on the Cape Town property ladder.
“In addition, South Africa still has a significant shortage of decent housing close to the city centre and other employment hubs because of the rising cost and inconvenience of travelling to work.”
The demand for well positioned, well-appointed and well-priced micro-living apartments will continue.
