ClareMart recently closed the deal on a Baronetcy Estate property to the tune of R9.789million, says Anton Koegelenberg, a senior auction consultant with the auction group.

Koegelenberg describes Baronetcy Estate in Plattekloof as “a prestigious and sought-after neighbourhood that offers luxury, style, security and comfort” .

The home that was sold includes six bedrooms with six bathrooms.

“One of its most appealing features was the master bedroom with built-in fireplace, air-conditioning and a balcony from which to take in the breathtaking views of the city and Table Mountain.

“The cinema room, built-in wood and gas braais, and the indoor heated swimming pool were other indulgences that contributed to the appeal of this magnificent home among potential buyers.”

Koegelenberg says the property had many investors vying for ownership.

“We were most satisfied with the outcome of the sale, particularly in challenging market conditions.”
