Big-hearted Knight Frank clients in the Western Cape are generously stepping up in support of Toy Run 2019 by donating toys at the Hout Bay, Claremont and Sea Point property offices in preparation for the annual event which takes place November 24 with the aim of uplifting, educating and offering hope for vulnerable children.

Young and old are welcome to join the Toy Run motorbike riders when they arrive at the Killarney International Raceway, this event will have live music, stalls, food and drink.

“Our Sea Point office holds the record for the most toys donated so far; this is a shout out to all Capetonians to help us raise the bar and join us in supporting this wonderful cause which works with over 300 charities to distribute gifts to children at Christmas time,” says Knight Frank Toy Run Coordinator Colleen van Rensburg.

“It’s not just about toys; ‘give’ is such a small four-letter word, but its effect is quite profound in the joy it brings to those less fortunate. Many homes and families have outgrown their use of toys, and even one small toy will have a great impact in the life of a child, adolescent or young adult starting out in life.”

Toy Run supports children up to the age of 18 years and sporting equipment, together with pre-loved toys still in good condition, and new toys too, are welcomed.

The Claremont Knight Frank office offers donors the convenience of parking at the Cavendish Shopping centre, followed with a short walk to their entrance opposite Bootleggers where they can drop toys off in the Toy Run collection box.

Should you need assistance in donating your toys please contact Colleen directly on +27 21 671 9120 or 082 887 5064, or your nearest Knight Frank office.
