Bidway Auction House will call for bids for 11 coffee shops and ice cream parlours of Grand Coffee House and Grand Ice Cream on August 22 at 11am.
Stef Olivier, who is handling the auction for Bidway, says all assets have been removed from the shops and will be displayed for auction at 3 Epping Crescent in Elsies River.
“The coffee shops and ice cream parlours were in use for less than 24 months, so all the equipment is in excellent condition. Most items were imported from Italy and represent some of the best quality equipment in the industry,” Olivier says.
Among the assets on offer are:
* Eight fully-automatic espresso coffee machines.
* Nine gelato ice cream scoop display fridges from Italy.
* A wide variety of single glass door upright fridges and freezer.
* Double door fridges and freezers and stainless steel under-bar fridges.
“The restaurants installed modern coffee-bean grinder stations, ice machines, commercial bar blenders, convection ovens and a variety of stainless steel tables, pot sinks and shelving. There has been considerable interest in the auction and we expect strong attendance. All the catering equipment and restaurant furniture will be sold.”
