The upcoming auction of a sturdy three-bedroomed house in Bellville South will provide an opportunity to purchase a property at a bargain price in an area where demand for residential properties is extremely high.

Auctioneer Dan van Zyl says Bellville South is a well-established suburb and is popular because of its prime location.

“It is close to schools, churches, the University of the Western Cape, an industrial area, a railway station and Cape Town International airport,” he says.

The house has three bedrooms, one bathroom with bath, shower and basin, a separate toilet, a kitchen with built-in cupboards, and a living room. A double carport completes the property, which stands on a 431m² erf with surrounding fence.

The property forms part of a deceased estate and will be sold without a reserve price, but the sale will be subject to confirmation by the executor of the estate, Van Zyl says. The purchaser will not be liable for any rates or taxes in arrears, as all such expenses will be paid by the estate.

The auction will take place on site at 33 Gallant Street, Bellville South, at 11am on July 30.

The conditions of sale include payment of a 10% deposit plus auctioneer’s commission by EFT or bank-guaranteed cheque on the day of auction, or as previously arranged. Guarantees must be provided within 30 days.
