Ryan Swart, of In2Assets, says there have been several inquiries regarding the company’s sale in Joburg on November 27 of two sections of sectional title commercial space in Thibault House in Thibault Square.
“We were anticipating a high level of interest from the investment sector as Cape Town central assets are not on the auction floor every day,” Swart says.
The phones of David Soutter of Reliance Auctions and his staff have also rung more than usual following the news that his company will on November 19 dispose of the Grand Daddy Hotel in Long Street at another Joburg auction.
“It’s such a prime property in a sought-after area that I am not surprised at the reaction - and we are expecting quite a few more inquiries next week,” Soutter says.
