Hermanus is the whale-watching capital of the world, and thanks to its tranquil atmosphere, it is no surprise that home buyers are flocking to the town to live out their golden years.

A recent FNB report showed that, over the past two years, there has been an increase in homeowners aged 51 and over in the Hemel en Aarde Estate as well as the Fernkloof Golf Estate in Hermanus.
