Gemstone Estate offers an investment opportunity for people who include young professionals, young families starting out, retired folk looking to downscale and buy-to-let investors, says Rehana Moosa, marketing executive, Asrin Property Developers.

Asrin recently began construction at its Gemstone Estate within Cravenby Estate, and sales are going “extremely well”. Moosa says 50% of units in phase one of the development, The Topaz, have been sold.

Once completed, The Topaz will consist of 42 units in three-storey walk-up blocks with prices ranging from R689 000 to R779 000.

Phase two, Sapphire Mews, will consist of 97 units in three-storey walk-up blocks, with two-bedroom apartments priced from R699 900 to R785 700 and three bedroom apartments from R869 900 to R899 900.

The Topaz and Sapphire Mews will have superior finishes including engineered stone countertops, ceramic tiles and laminated flooring, anodised aluminium windows and door frames, and wi-fi and DStv connections.

The design also incorporates green features and each phase in Gemstone Estate will have its own access-controlled entrance with a guardhouse. Both phases are expected to be completed this year.
