Bidway Auction House has received instruction from the joint liquidators of Muffin Line, a Brackenfell-based food supply company that closed its doors last year, to dispose of its assets.

Muffin Line was a major supplier of products such as muffin mixes, cookies, fried foods and sweets to restaurants, coffee shops and the correctional services, says Bidway’s Stef Olivier, who will conduct the auction.

On offer will be all the equipment used in the factory to prepare these food supplies, including an 80-loaf rotary convection oven, large food mixers, under-counter fridges, stainless steel tables and sinks, chip fryers, extractor canopies and conveyor heat-sealing machines, to mention just a few items, he says.

Almost new vehicles owned by the liquidated company will also go on the block.

Other assets that will be sold on the auction day are a 2015 Infanta semi-rigid boat with 115HP Yamaha outboard motor with all the accessories, a Camp Master Challenger trailer, and a large refrigerated trailer.

A variety of top quality office furniture will go on the block at Bidway’s auction of Muffin Line assets on February 19. Picture: Bidway Auction House

The auction will take place on site at Muffin Line’s premises at Units 9 and 10, Brackengate Business Park, 36 London Circle, Brackenfell, starting at 11am sharp on February 19.

The assets may be viewed on site between 9am and 4pm on February 18, or from 9am on the morning of the auction.
