Among the lots for In2Assets’s multi-property auction at the Durban Country Club at 11am on June 19 are three industrial and one commercial sectional title properties in Jacobs. Sections 2, 3, 4 and 5 of 150 Chamberlain Road are close to the M4 and Quality Street, a main arterial road into Jacobs.
Ryan Swart, handling the sale for In2Assets, says the four properties are in a prominent position, with excellent exposure, and close to the Port of Durban.
“Jacobs industrial node has experienced increased demand after the upgrading of the Quality Street intersection with the M4. This node is mainly occupied by established and emerging tenants and owner-occupiers,” says Swart.
The four units - all currently vacant - provide almost 10000m² of space with Section 5, at just under 4000m², being the largest.

Three Durban CBD properties catalogued for the sale are:
* 372 Dr Pixley Kaseme (West) Street, in one of the new precincts demarcated to form the Urban Development Zone.
* 393 Dr Pixley Kaseme Street, a property recently renovated and upgraded internally to modern retail standards.
* 432 Dr Pixley Kaseme Street, a triple-storey building with clothing store Webbers occupying large sections of the building.
