A Diep River home, which is in “pristine condition” and includes a separate one-bedroom cottage, will be auctioned on March 27.

Tanya Jovanovski, franchisee of Rawson Auctions Western Cape, which will auction the property, says the north-facing house - which is located at 4 Edgeware Close - has four bedrooms, all fitted with blinds and built-in cupboards.

The main bedroom has air-conditioning and an en-suite bathroom. There is also a family bathroom with a shower, toilet, basin and extractor fan, she says.

The kitchen has fitted cupboards and marble counter-tops, and is partially open-plan, offering a view of the lounge with its fireplace and the dining area. A door from the kitchen leads to the sunroom.

Jovanovski says both the interior and exterior of the property are immaculate. “The home has flawless finishes and, with its large windows and double sliding doors, gets plenty of natural light.”

The well-maintained garden includes a braai area and patio, a splash pool and a 3mx 6m Wendy house, which is currently used as a storage shed.

The separate cottage has one bedroom, a lounge and a kitchen with built-in cupboards, and has the potential to generate R6500 per month in rental income, in Jovanovski's estimation.

Although situated in what she describes as “a secure location”, the home includes several security features: burglar bars; an alarm system; electric fencing; a remote-operated steel main gate; and a single garage with panel doors that are also remotely operated.

The property will be auctioned at noon on March 27 at the Rawson Property Group’s head office at 222 Main Road, Rondebosch. The reserve price is available on application, but all offers will be considered.
