One of only six made, it had just two owners from new, and fetched £454250 (about R8.9million).

The Tourer was bought from its first owner Colonel Guy Bedford by war hero Charles Blackham as a non-runner in March 1952 for £260. A talented engineer, Blackham soon had it running and drove the classic convertible for 36 years.
