Bidding war for star’s army jacket

Hollywood legend Clark Gable’s brown leather flight jacket, worn during service in the US Army Air Corps, was sold on auction for $14350 (about R206000) by an online auction company, Nate D Sanders.

Gable enlisted in the US army in 1942, serving in the 8th Air Force as an aerial gunner and instructor in bomber aircraft during World War ll.
