WH Auctioneers Cape’s next auction, to be held on June 27, will predominantly feature new material-handling equipment, but a variety of late model vehicles, plant and equipment will also go under the hammer, as instructed by liquidators, financial institutions and fleet companies.

The auction company’s Martin Dibowitz says the new material-handling equipment will include diesel and electric forklifts ranging from seven tons to 1.8 ton, electric reach stackers, electric and manual pallet jacks, ride-on pallet jacks, drum grabbers and lifting tables.

Dibowit says the heavy-duty vehicles on auction will include late-model Mercedes Benz, Iveco and Powerstar tippers; Mercedes Benz and Iveco horses; and Mitsubishi, Mercedes Benz, Isuzu and Nissan UD 4.6 and eight-ton trucks, including flat decks, tautliners, volume vans and refrigerated units.

He says a large selection of late model bakkies will also be on offer on the day, with brands including Ford Ranger and Toyota Hilux, as well as Nissan NP300s and Chevrolet LDVs. In addition, late-model executive vehicles will be available, including a 2010 Aston Martin DB9 convertible.

On the plant side there will be excavators, front-end loaders, digger loaders and rollers.

Over and above this, there will be a selection of small plant and equipment on the sale, including prefabricated offices, he says.

The auction will be held at 10.30am on June 27 at WH Auctioneers’ premises at 17 Dacres Avenue, Epping 2, with viewing the day before from 9am until 4.30pm.

Bank finance will be available on site for buyers who qualify.

WH Auctioneers’ webcast online bidding system will also be accessible to buyers who are not able to attend the auction in person.
