Apartment blocks in Bellville, Parow and Fish Hoek will be among the offerings at ClareMart’s next multiple property auction on May 29.
Farrell Perling, the auction group’s executive sales head, believes the auction of these properties will provide investment opportunities on the commercial front where, he says, demand for good stock is soaring.
“We saw massive interest in the commercial properties at our last multiple auction, particularly in blocks of flats. With many sellers wanting more liquidity, we are seeing top quality properties becoming available on the market.”
Going under the hammer will be two adjacent Bellville blocks of flats close to public transport and major amenities. Each block comprises 13 two-bedroom apartments. Both are sectionalised and have ample parking.
Bella Vie at 11 Retief Street and Bellma at 2 De Villiers Street can be viewed between noon and 2pm on May 22. They will be sold either separately or together.
The northern suburbs block at 11 Retief Street in Bellville will also go under the hammer.
Another northern suburbs property - 13 Lawley Road, Fairfield Estate, Parow - will also go on the block.
The property comprises 10 fully tenanted apartments, configured into four two-bedroom units, four one-bedroom units and two spacious bachelor units, six garages and on-site parking.
It will be on show from 2pm to 5pm on May 19.
In Fish Hoek, a fully tenanted four-unit block, with garages and sea views, offers upside rental potential, says Perling. The units are configured into two duplex two-bedroom units and two studio apartments.
“Fish Hoek is popular with tourists and long-term residents, and there is not likely to be a shortage of tenants,” he says.
The block, at 29 Carmichael Road, will be on show from 2pm to 5pm on May 19.
