Rawson Auctions Western Cape will sell a facebrick Villiersdorp house with a flatlet, which has the potential to generate a rental income of about R10000 a month.

At 2 Huguenot Street, Villiersdorp, the property is on a 662m² erf, says Tanya Jovanovski, franchisee of Rawson Auctions Western Cape.

The house, tiled throughout, has three bedrooms, two bathrooms (one en suite), an open-plan lounge and dining room with built-in braai area and a fitted kitchen.

A balcony leads off the lounge area and offers views of the surrounding mountains.

The flatlet, which has a separate entrance, has two bedrooms, a full bathroom and an open-plan dining room, lounge and kitchen. The kitchen has an oven and hob and built-in cupboards.

The property includes an established garden and a double garage with space for four vehicles.

There is an alarm system, burglar bars, panic buttons and remote-controlled access to the garage.

Jovanovski says Villiersdorp is “a stunning region, surrounded by apple and other fruit farms”.

It is situated about 90 minutes from Cape Town, and less than 30 minutes from Franschhoek.

The property will be auctioned at noon on January 30 at the Rawson Property Group’s head office at 222 Main Road, Rondebosch.

The reserve price is R1.2million, but all offers will be considered. The seller is registered for VAT so no transfer duty will be payable.
