Universiteitsoord, the emerging private student hub on Stellenbosch University’s doorstep, is set for further development with 17 On Cluver.
The modern 26-unit sectional title building is being developed by Isipani, City Capital and Stellenbosch-based HDK Developments, a subsidiary of the Horn & De Koning Property Group.
Completion is planned for October with occupation set for early next year. Demand for affordable private student accommodation in Stellenbosch is “very high”, says HDK managing director Pieter Horn.
Eighteen of 26 units in 17 on Cluver have been sold.
Each semi-furnished unit has its own bathroom and will have a three-quarter bed, study corner, bar fridge, kitchenette, microwave, built-in cupboards and a Juliete balcony with sliding door.
Communal areas include a fully-equipped kitchen, furnished lounge, dining roomand an outdoor pool and braai area.
Each unit includes a shaded parking. The building will have optic fibre, CCTV cameras and electric fencing. Monthly rental is R9250.
