Mahindra South Africa has beefed up the off-road potential of its Scorpio bakkie range, consisting of single- and double-cab bakkies in 2WD and 4WD, by adding Eaton's locking rear differential to the standard specification.
The Eaton M-Locker provides full axle lock-up when necessary, disables itself at any speed above 20km/h and is fully compatible with the ABS braking system that's standard on all models.
Other standard features across the range include air conditioning, central locking, electric windows and airbags. Pricing ranges from R169 400 for the 4x2 Single Cab to R242 900 for the 4x4 Double-Cab.
