Sydney Seethal is not just the younger sibling of "Truth or Dare" hitmaker Tyla, she’s also forging her own unique path in the digital world while enjoying her first international trip.

With a suitcase full of mealie meal and her favourite local snacks packed for her journey abroad, the 20-year-old influencer is showcasing her fun side by vlogging and creating TikTok content.

Nodding to simpler times, she still uses wired earphones and presents herself as an overall relatable "girly girl“.

In one of her Get Ready With Me (GRWM) vlogs, she shows her audience her “dirty make up bag” while preparing to attend a Kehlani concert.

From a three-way dance with seasoned R&B artist Usher and her sister Tyla, to exploring New York City, a city where dreams are made as she tries thrifting at a renowned store favoured by model Bella Hadid, Seethal has been having the time of her life.

Seethal began her digital career by creating a TikTok page in 2019. She quickly gained popularity through her lip-syncing videos, and now has a following of 1.1 million. Watch out Tyla!

Her content focuses on fun, showcasing a day in her life, and being relatable. In addition to her personal YouTube channel, she shares a collaborative channel with her sister Tyla called “Sydney and Tyla,” which has 53,500 subscribers.

They have posted a Q&A Mukbang video where people ask them questions and they answer while eating a variety of foods which highlights their authenticity.

In one of her vlogs, she takes her followers through her maintenance day routine, getting her hair, lashes, and nails done. She mentions she does not do it all in one day, but spreads it out over two.

Candidly, she shares how she faked a finger injury to avoid holding the hairpiece while getting braids, a relatable move for many girls who try to dodge the tedious task of assisting the braider by holding and picking out strands, even though it helps the process go more smoothly for everyone.

“I wake up on the 1st of every month looking like my problems. I faked an injury just so I don’t have to pass the hairpiece, so don’t judge me!” she says.

Later in the vlog, she reveals the final look of her nails and toes, playfully adding, “Please don’t sell these pictures of my toes”.
