London - Our partner is the person with whom we’re supposed to share everything.
But women are twice as likely to discuss sex with their friends than with their significant other half, a study has shown.
The research reveals that while a third of women (34 percent) will broach the topic on a girls’ night out, just 16 percent bring it up while out as a couple.
On a date night, they are more likely to discuss family (57 percent) and holidays (54 percent).
Unsurprisingly, men top the list of conversation topics when women get together, with 64 percent admitting they talk about their male counterparts and nearly half saying they gossip about other people’s relationships.
However, the study by Mecca Bingo found that weddings fell far behind, with just 12 percent of women noting them a common subject for discussion.
The research also showed that women put more effort into getting ready for a night on the town than they do for a date, with one in three buying a new outfit to wear with friends, compared with one in five for an evening with their partner. - Daily Mail
