South Africa’s super fan Mama Joy Chauke has recently shared on social media that she has found her Papa Joy. She has been posting videos of them on X spending time together, exploring Cape Town and Soweto.
After sharing her adventures during the 2024 Olympics in Paris, she has now shared on social media that she has found a companion - coming back from Paris with more than just her luggage, but a special “souvenir”.
On Monday, the super fan shared that Papa Joy proposed and she said ‘yes’. The video was captioned “He asked something and I said Yess Papa joy and Mama joy”.
The 50 year-old sports super fan said that age is just a number, both her and Papa Joy are the same age and they hope to inspire people and show them that there is still hope in finding love despite your age.
In their series of videos exploring South Africa, on Tuesday Chauke posted a video on X featuring Papa Joy in Soweto meeting her son and going into South Africa's fried chicken fast food restaurant chain Chicken Licken in Dobsonville for the first time.
The staff happily welcomed them cheering, “Hi Papa Joy, welcome to Soweto Chicken Licken Dobsonville”, to which he responded with a “thank you”.
She was met with a lot of joy as netizens celebrated her and Papa Joy’s union, showering the post with congratulatory comments and well wishes. Going on to say that they cannot wait for the wedding and suggesting having it at a stadium.
