It's the last weekend before Christmas, and if you still haven't done all your shopping you are running out of time.
If you plan on heading to the malls this weekend, these are some of the festive treats you can expect to find at your local Pick n Pay, Checkers, Food Lovers Market and Woolworths.
Pick 'n Pay
Pick 'n Pay has some amazing festive eats and drinks for customers this festive season.
Marketing manager, John Bradshaw says: "We know customers want to make this a special time so we have created a fresh ideas Christmas Feasting leaflet with dish ideas and tips."
The leaflet is also available in store.
What's a Christmas lunch without a few of our favourite meats including turkey, gammon, lamb, chicken or even duck?
In addition to the meat selection, the retailer also has a range of Christmas inspired desserts and puddings including trifle, brandy Christmas pudding and fruit mince pies to name a few.
"Biscuits and chocolates are also in demand this time of year, especially as gifts, and we have a wide variety to choose from. We have our PnP Xmas Choc Chip Cookies and the PnP Hollow Milk Chocolate Balls – these are often used to decorate tables during Christmas meals," says Bradshaw.
For the wine lovers, Pick n Pay Wine Club has selected wines that will go well with the holidays – "be it a great red for Christmas dinner, or bubbles for new year’s day'.
Checkers
Checkers serves up their exclusive Limited Edition range, developed especially for the festive period.
This range is ideal for those who want to spend less time in the kitchen.
It includes precooked rolled pork neck filled with caramelised apples, partially de-boned chicken stuffed with a buttery, rosemary-infused cranberry crumb, beef tongue with a sweet mustard sauce, turducken with a sweet and tangy cranberry glaze, apricot glazed gammon with sweet pineapple slices and red cherries, roast beef rubbed with a special spice blend and venison pie.
However, if you prefer to prepare your meal the traditional way, Checkers has a range of gammon, corned beef and tongue as well as combo packs available in store.
The Limited Edition range also includes sides and salads as well as sweet treats.

Food Lovers Market
