The much-anticipated third season of "And Just Like That" premieres on May 29, and fans of the iconic series are in for a treat.
With the release of a tantalising new trailer, excitement is spiralling for a summer filled with nostalgia, friendship and unexpected twists featuring our favourite quartet: Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Charlotte (Kristin Davis), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Seema (Sarita Choudhury).
The trailer reveals the friends navigating the highs and lows of life, love and personal growth.
“There’s nothing like summer in New York City. With its hot days and even hotter nights, something new and unexpected always awaits,” says Carrie as she confidently struts through the urban jungle in a pair of stunning shoes.
What exactly does that mean for the characters?
For Carrie, it signals a dive into the world of fiction writing, while her best friend Miranda, fresh from her complex breakup with Che Diaz, explores a budding crush on a work colleague.
"I really like her, but it's a work contact," Miranda says in the trailer.
Meanwhile, Seema is back on the dating scene, ready to embrace the romantic prospects and Charlotte has her hands full navigating the emotional turbulence of her daughter Lily's crush on a ballet dancer, alongside her friend Lisa (Nicole Ari Parker) developing feelings for a colleague.
The drama escalates when Carrie has to confront her lingering feelings for Aiden (John Corbett).
“Have you heard anything from Aiden?” asks Charlotte.
The revelation of a blank postcard sent by Aiden, who has moved to Virginia to be with his three teenage sons, speaks volumes about their complicated status.
As Carrie wades through the uncertainty, a spark with her neighbour adds another unexpected layer to her complicated life.
The trailer also gives viewers a sneak peek of intimate moments, such as a dinner scene featuring Carrie, Aiden and his teenage sons, as well as Miranda contemplating fresh beginnings.
"Life is a story we get to write every day, and when the plot twists, we can choose to embrace a new chapter," says Carrie at the end of the trailer.
Meanwhile, during an online interview, Jessica Parker shared: “There are a lot of stories with so many great actors, and we have such incredible women on the show.
"We also have wonderful men, many of whom are familiar, new men, new stories. Life keeps evolving, and children change, and your relationships change. And it's big. We've been shooting for about seven months straight.”
