"Survivor" fans are in for a treat as M-Net (DStv channel 101) is set to deliver three compelling international seasons of one the world's most popular reality television shows.

"Survivor Australia" season 12 will premiere on April 8 and will air from Monday through Friday.

This season, themed "Brains vs Brawn II", will showcase a fierce battle between 24 fresh contestants stranded in Samoa.

The new season will be hosted once again by Jonathan LaPaglia, affectionately known as the "Survivor daddy".

Competitors will vie for the coveted title of "Sole Survivor" and the impressive $500,000 (approximately R5.7 million).

Participants include Logan Johannisen, who is South African-born footballer Jason Johannisen's wife, Olympic runner Morgan Mitchell, and former "Ambulance Australia" paramedic Paulie Michael.

"Survivor Australia" will be hosted by "Saddy" (Survivor daddy) Jonathan LaPaglia.

Next in line is the much-anticipated "Survivor USA" season 47, which kicks off on June 9 at 7pm.

Contestants will land on the picturesque yet challenging Mamanuca Islands in Fiji for the 15th consecutive season.

Here, eighteen determined castaways will compete for a staggering $1 million (around R18.2 million) over a grueling 26 days.

Fans can expect a familiar yet thrilling dynamic, featuring returning favourites and captivating new personalities.

Among the castaways are Aysha Welch, Sierra Wright, Jon Lovett, radio presenter Gabe Ortis and sports reporter Sam Phalen, who will each represent one of three tribes: Gata, Lavo and Tuku.

Finally, "Survivor Australia vs The World" will launch on June 22 at 6pm.

This dynamic series pits returning Australian contestants against players from international editions, including "Survivor USA", "Survivor New Zealand" and "Survivor South Africa".

The Australian Tribe will features familiar faces like Shonee Bowtell, George Mladenov and David Genat, while the World Tribe boasts iconic castaways including two-time "Survivor USA" winner Tony Vlachos, four-time player Cirie Fields and South Africa’s very own Rob Bentele, the charming 2019 winner of "Survivor SA: Island of Secrets".

Bentele, season seven’s beloved kingpin, played a robust and strategic game. He trusted the right people within the game and stayed true to his alliance, which enabled him to predict every vote and control it with precision.

Not only did Bentele play a powerful social game but also dominated the challenges, having nabbed multiple Individual Immunity wins, wearing the necklace at five Tribal Councils, protecting him from a vote.

It will be interesting to watch whether he will be able to out-smart other contestants to bring home the title and the grand prize.
