DURBAN - THE Inanda Road (M21)/Willowfield Crescent intersection in the Springfield Park/Umgeni Business Park area will be closed from January 12 to January 17, according to a GO!Durban public notice.

Traffic will continue flowing along the M21 and M21/Teakfield Road intersections.

“This will allow work on stormwater road crossings to be carried out. The invert level is at 8m necessitating the closure of one side of the intersection to protect motorists,” read the notice.

Motorists are advised to use the alternative M21/Palmfield intersection to access any properties near the M21/Teakfield Road area.

The notice said the city would keep the inconvenience as minimal as possible. Motorists are advised to familiarise themselves with the traffic accommodation plans as detailed on the map provided and to proceed with caution.
